I'm sure you've seen it all over Pinterest and was also featured on A Beautiful Mess, Sharpie Mugs!
I went to a Girls Night Out craft night and we made Sharpie Mugs. It was really fun seeing what everyone did and how creative everyone was drawing on their mugs. The idea was to make mugs for a special Valentine or two. (Sorry, no pictures of the night. Still working on this documenting your life thing to share on the blog and not sure about boundries and such. Still working this all out for myself! But that is another post/thought entirely and has NOTHING to do with Sharpie Mugs!)
So here was my/our insperation and pins on Pinterest. (Click on photo to take you to original blog)

Simply Me
All really cute and really inspiring! But mine did not turn out! I would call this a PinFail for me. I don't know if it was the mugs I used (really cheap ones from Wal-Mart) or if my oven is off (baked at 350 for 45 minutes) or what because it seamed to work great for everyone else. My results:
The pink was really faded after I took it out of the oven and I very gently hand washed the mug and it started rubbing right off. The black came out darker but also rubs right off. These were going to be His/Her Valentine's gifts for my husband. Back to the drawing board!
